Getting Closer

I made 3 more blocks, one red and blue, one pink and blue, and the third one was another try at yellow-green. I made it much more subdued but it still doesn't blend in. So now I have to decide whether I want to live with it, or make yet another green block. I want so much to be done with this, and move on to something new, but I refuse to put these blocks back in the box again.

  1. WOW - this is gorgeous! The subtle color changes are wonderful but I know how hard this is to manipulate. You have a great eye for color!

  2. Your blocks are beautiful, and I love your color gradations. Unfortunately, I do agree that the yellow-green one sticks out. Maybe a less yellowy version?

  4. This just looks better an better every time I see it! I see what you mean about the green, but I also think it looks good. You are too hard on yourself. If you do decide to rip it out (and you DON'T need too)because you want it to blend more, you might change the center line of squares to a slightly cooler hue so it blends more with the blues next to it. Just my two cents, but it's lovely.
