Volleyball Quilt

Something finished! I found some beach volleyball fabric somewhere, in two different scales, and made this simple little quilt. It's a small lap size. I used every bit of the larger scale fabric; in fact I sized it to make the most effective use of what I had. It could have been quilted in an all-over pattern, but I did a different design in each color. It still went quickly.

Not too hard to guess where this one will end up! Linking to Crazy Mom Quilts, for Finish it up Friday

  2. Awesome quilt! I play in mud vball tournaments with my cousins and friends during the summer. Yes, I said mud (lol) and every tourney we get a tshirt. I've been working on making tshirt quilts out of those shirts for everyone on the team and that fabric you found would be fantastic for the back. Where did you find it?

  3. Thank you! Mud! And I thought getting sand all over would be bad. I don't remember precisely where I got the fabric, but I did a quick search and fabric.com has it. And on sale for half price too.
