Last night was Evan's graduation from middle school. The ceremony itself was over two hours, even though it's a small school, because they recognized all the teachers and staff who were moving on, had photo montages of all the graduating eighth graders, speeches and awards, etc. The class had chosen one of their teachers, Aurora, to give the commencement address this year and she spoke eloquently about the school's principles: be kind to others, live honorably even when no one's looking, and work hard. Good for all of us to remember.
