Another Round

The latest round of bad weather started a week ago, when it started snowing heavily at rush hour. Just like in November, this brought traffic to a standstill even while the roads were still fine. The roads were snowy/slippery on Thursday and Friday, but because the schools were closed, traffic wasn't bad. The weekend was supposed to see a warming trend but it kept below freezing the whole time. Early Tuesday morning, it snowed another couple of inches on top of the now icy roads and that was too much for me. Fortunately, it's gotten warmer and now most of the roads are fine.

The warming snow was perfect for packing, and some neighbors built this snowman/sculpture. It's at least 10 feet tall. By this morning, it had toppled.
