Blooms

I have two large pink rhododendrons between the front door and the garage. They grow too tall, overhang the sidewalk and need to be pruned way back every couple of years. I hate pruning them because rhodies are very sticky after they've bloomed and you get sticky black gunk all over your hands, tools and clothes. And they completely block the living room window, so I've thought for years about taking them out. But then they bloom again, and so I leave them for another year.

  1. They are so gorgeous, how could you take them out? They are probably too big to transplant somewhere else I suppose.
