Results

The dried fabric tubes pulled off the pole look like caterpillar husks. The color is pretty true here as it was shot outside.

The others, after pulling out the basting stitches and pressing. The wrinkles require a fair amount of ironing, but you have to do that to heat set the paint anyway. I think they look better in person than in these pictures, which don't show some of the subtle details.
