It was my first try at using the Quick Curve Ruler, which really does make piecing curves easy. It takes a little getting used to cutting in the ruler's slot. This is adapted from the Abacus pattern. I used a set of fat quarters and I wanted to make the most of each, so I cut the bead portions wider than the pattern called for.
The prints feature a lot of pinks and lime green, so I made the background out of Kona Cerise, and the bars linking the beads a light green batik.
